Our gravel grid range covers interlocking HDPE cellular pavers that confine gravel or grass for permeable, load-bearing surfaces. As a gravel stabilizer grid manufacturer we mould each driveway grid from modified high-molecular-weight HDPE, so it holds pea gravel, crushed stone or turf flat and rut-free on driveways, paths, parking and slopes.
A gravel grid — also sold as a gravel stabilizer grid or plastic driveway grid — is a honeycomb of HDPE cells that snap together with interlocking tabs, no clips or pins. Filled with clean angular gravel (up to about 12 mm) the cells stop the stone migrating and rutting under tyres; filled with topsoil and turf the same panel works as a grass paver and grass driveway grid. With around 90% open area the surface stays fully permeable, so rain drains through instead of ponding — a permeable driveway grid rather than sealed asphalt.
Use the grid for gravel driveways, garden paths, car parks, overflow parking, fire lanes and gentle slopes; cell depths of 25–50 mm match the load, with deeper cells for heavier traffic and staking advised beyond about 15°. Many installers lay a nonwoven geotextile under the panels as a gravel grid with membrane to separate the sub-base and suppress weeds. See the gravel grid product page for the full specification, and our HDPE geocell range when slopes or subgrades call for deeper cellular confinement.
