Sediment control: silt fence and turbidity curtain
On active construction sites, sediment control keeps soil on site and out of waterways. The silt fence (sediment control fence) is a staked geotextile barrier that filters runoff at the slope toe, while the turbidity curtain — a floating silt curtain or turbidity barrier — contains suspended sediment in ponds, rivers and marine works. Both intercept sediment so only clean water leaves the site. See our silt fence and turbidity curtain.
Slope and channel armour
For permanent protection we supply soft and hard armour. The 3D reinforced geomat is an erosion control geomat that anchors topsoil and roots on slopes for vegetated reinforcement, while the concrete blanket (GCCM concrete cloth) and the articulated concrete revetment mattress (articulated concrete mattress) provide hard armour for channels, spillways, embankments and shoreline slope protection. See the 3D reinforced geomat, concrete blanket (GCCM) and concrete revetment mattress.
